Yemen's Houthis accuse Syrian government of treason

The political bureau of Yemen's Ansar Allah movement strongly condemned the meeting held in Paris on Wednesday between Syrian Foreign Minister Asad al-Shaibani and an Israeli delegation.

The group's statement said: "We strongly condemn the fact that the armed group ruling Syria held a direct meeting with the Zionist enemy in Paris."

The Houthis added that the talks were held at a time when the "Zionist entity" has launched a new campaign to occupy Gaza and continues to desecrate the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Syrian leadership has been accused of reaching out to the Zionist enemy at such a time to improve relations.
