UAE wants to enter the US chip market

US President Donald Trump received the brother of the United Arab Emirates' National Security Advisor and current President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the White House.

The meeting discussed long-term strategic cooperation between the two countries, including US investments in advanced technologies, artificial intelligence, energy, and healthcare.

Bloomberg reports that Abu Dhabi is seeking to gain access to the country's chip market by investing in the United States. The UAE is investing heavily in the creation of artificial intelligence centers, aiming to become a regional AI hub.

Previously, former US President Joe Biden had expanded restrictions on the export of American artificial intelligence chips.
