Two soldiers were killed in an attack by militants in Pakistan
A group of sappers was attacked by militants in Baluchistan region of Pakistan . As a result, two soldiers were killed and four were injured. Since the beginning of the year, more than 200 acts of sabotage have been committed in two provinces of the country, and 281 representatives of the civilian population and security personnel have been killed. During 48 anti-terrorist operations, 151 militants were neutralized.

In Balochistan's Gwadar district, militants attacked a demining team around the Accra Kaur Dam, Dawn reported.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
According to a report released by the Islamabad-based Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were the states with the highest number of terrorist incidents across the country in the first quarter of 2024.
In the first quarter of this year, 281 civilians and security personnel were killed in 200 terrorist attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. 151 militants were neutralized during 48 anti-terrorist operations conducted by Pakistani security forces.
