Trump is ready to make an exception for Israel

US President Donald Trump has begun talks with Israel, Vietnam and India on new trade deals that could reduce existing tariffs, CNN reported.

Currently, the US has imposed a 17% tariff on Israeli products, 26% on Indian goods, and 46% on Vietnamese products.

According to Axios, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to renegotiate the terms of the trade deal with Trump during his visit to the White House today.

Trump has previously said he is willing to renegotiate trade terms if they are against US interests.

In response to Washington's decision, China announced that it would impose a 34 percent tariff on US products starting April 10. Trump also imposed a 54 percent tariff on goods imported from China.
