The US imposed sanctions on Turkish and Lebanese companies
The US has imposed sanctions on 3 companies and 1 individual in Turkey and Lebanon for providing financial support to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Hezbollah. They were accused of buying, transporting and selling Iranian raw materials on the world market.
The US Treasury has sanctioned 3 entities and 1 individual in Lebanon and Turkey for providing significant financial support to the IRGS and Hezbollah's financial network. This is reported by Yeni Safak.
Sanctions have been imposed against the Turkey-based Mira Ihracat Ithalat Petrol Company, as well as its CEO and owner Ibrahim Talal al-Uwair, known as Ibrahim Agaoglu, who was accused of buying, transporting and selling Iranian raw materials on the world market.
In addition, sanctions were imposed on two Lebanese companies: Yara Offshore SAL, which was linked to Hezbollah and facilitated the sale of large quantities of Iranian goods to Syria , and Hydro Company, which was involved in the delivery of millions of dollars worth of Iranian goods to Syria.
Sanctions against the individuals mentioned above block access to their assets and bank accounts in the United States and prevent the sanctioned individuals and companies from doing business with Americans.
