The religious administration of Moscow Muslims rejected the reports that Eid-ul-Fitr prayers would be offered online and announced that they would be held in mosques as usual. The Moscow government expects 400,000 people to participate in this year's Eid al-Fitr events.

The religious administration of Moscow Muslims announced that the Ramadan Eid prayer will be performed in the usual way: in mosques.

"The information that Eid al-Adha will be held online by order of the Moscow authorities is untrue," the report said.

The holiday prayer will be held on April 10 at 7:00 a.m. in a mosque located near Tinchlik Avenue in the capital of Russia.

During the holiday, an online broadcast of the holiday sermon will be organized so that those who could not visit the mosque for valid reasons can listen to the lectures and feel the festive atmosphere.

According to the Moscow government, more than 400,000 people are expected to participate in the events held in honor of Eid al-Adha. The Office of Muslims of Moscow called for the maintenance of order and the fulfillment of the demands of volunteers and law enforcement officers in order to prevent traffic jams during the holiday. It was also recommended to avoid using large bags and backpacks. Vigilance has been requested as the threat of terrorism remains high.
