"The steps taken by the United Nations and the commitments requested by the Commission from the NRVA have been taken into account," the report said.
According to the European Commission, based on the results, it was decided to allocate additional funds in the amount of 82 million euros for 2024, which should be provided through the NRVA. The total amount of aid will reach 150 million euros. 50 million euros will be transferred to the agency next week , the report said.
Funded by voluntary contributions from UN member states, NRVA has been a grassroots organization providing humanitarian aid to Palestine refugees in the areas of food, health, education and shelter since 1950.
