Syrian opposition forces captured the country's fourth largest city, Hama. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the country.
It is noted that the Hama prison was also captured and the prisoners there were released.
For reference, Hama is the capital of the Syrian province of the same name. Currently, the defenders of Bashar Assad's regime have lost the two capitals of the provinces - Aleppo and Hama.
"In a little more than a week, they managed to take control of Aleppo, the second largest city in Syria, and now they have captured the fourth largest city," Al-Jazeera reported.
