A number of synagogues in the US and Canada have held closed-door meetings to discuss the sale of Palestinian properties in illegal Jewish settlement areas in East Jerusalem and the West Bank.

The information about this caused the protest of the American public.

For example, in Englewood, New Jersey, there was a protest against one such meeting organized by the Keller Williams real estate company in Texas.

Dozens of protesters carrying Palestinian flags, including Jews, gathered near the local Ahavat Torah synagogue despite the pouring rain. The protesters demanded an end to the sale of property from illegal settlements to American Zionist Jews.

The participants of the action raised slogans such as "Freedom for Palestine", "Stop Israeli occupation", "Stop illegal settlements" , "Do not sell stolen land", "This land is theft", " Do not do business on stolen land ".

The police have increased security measures in the demonstration area.

The New Jersey office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) also condemned the sale of Palestinian land to illegal settlers.

" The places where prayers are performed are sacred. "The use of places of worship, such as synagogues, to sell stolen land violates international law and is deeply troubling," CAIR said in a statement.

Closed- door meetings were also held in New Jersey, New York, Toronto, and Montreal regarding the sale of Palestinian land. They were organized by realtor Keller Williams in conjunction with the illegal Israeli settler group Your Home in Israel.

Pre-registration is required to attend these types of meetings. Entry is for Jewish participants only.
