Russia has decided to remove the Taliban from the list of banned organizations
The Russian government has decided to remove the Taliban movement from the list of terrorist organizations. This was reported by RBK.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Federal Security Service are completing legal work on this issue, said Zamir Kabulov, adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the president's special representative on Afghanistan.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the FSB and other agencies of Russia is completing legal work on removing the Taliban from the list of terrorist organizations of the Russian Federation," Kabulov said at the Moscow-format consultation meeting on Afghanistan.
