Responsibility for the genocide in Gaza lies with Israel and the Zionist government of the United States - HAMAS

Earlier, the Israeli Defense Minister announced that about 60,000 more reservists were being called up for a new operation in Gaza, dubbed "Gideon's Chariots." The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas expressed its reaction to this.

"Operation Gideon's Chariots is a new escalation in the 22-month-old war. The aggression is not taking into account the efforts of the mediators to reach a ceasefire and exchange prisoners. Netanyahu is rejecting the mediators' proposals. This is precisely what proves his unwillingness to make any agreement and his lack of intention to return his prisoners," the Hamas statement said.

The resistance movement also emphasized that "Gideon's Chariots" would be defeated, just like previous operations.

"Occupying Gaza is not an easy task. We call on the mediators to put pressure on the occupiers and stop the policy of genocide and starvation against our people," the Hamas spokesman added.

The movement also stated that the entire responsibility for the atrocities in Gaza lies with the occupation regime and the Zionist US administration.
