Supporters of Sunni leader Ahmed al-Asir in Lebanon have held a demonstration demanding his release. The demonstration took place in the courtyard of the Bilal ibn Rabah mosque near the city of Sidon.
For your information, Al-Asir was sentenced to 20 years in prison and the death penalty for participating in clashes with the Lebanese army in 2013-2014. He has been in prison since August 2015.
In 2012, al-Asir opposed Hezbollah's participation in the Syrian war, leading to a series of clashes between his supporters, Hezbollah, and the Lebanese army.
