Pakistan nominates Trump for Nobel Prize

The Pakistani government has nominated US President Donald Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize for his mediation in resolving the dispute with India.

According to Islamabad, it was the actions of the American leader that helped stop the escalation of the situation. That is why the Pakistani government decided to officially recommend Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize.

He also added that Pakistan had "demonstrated remarkable statesmanship" by simultaneously engaging with both Islamabad and New Delhi through diplomatic channels.
