The Saudi Arabian Space Agency's Space Future Center is preparing to send a mission to the moon and create a $2 trillion "global space economy" by 2035.


During his visit to Riyadh, the head of the US space agency, Bill Nelson, told the Asharq TV channel that the purpose of this is the future of the space center and the integration of commercial companies with government programs.


Nelson also explained that NASA will return to the moon after half a century with the help of international partners, namely Saudi Arabia, according to Islamnews. The Space Future Center will open in the fall of 2024.

Following this initiative, Saudi Arabia has also witnessed the emergence of many startups in the space industry due to the encouragement of the Saudi government.
