According to Statistics Norway, 78 babies were named with variations of the name Muhammad in the country's capital in 2024. The names Philip (68 times), Ludwig (63 times) and Theodore (60 times) were next after the name of the Prophet Muhammad.

In the nationwide ranking, Muhammad (including Muhammed, Mohammed, and other variants) ranks 26th.
