London: The bloodshed in Gaza is simply horrific

British Foreign Secretary David Lemmy has called the rising number of civilian casualties from Israel's overnight attacks on Gaza "appalling".

He posted on his social media page X: "The increasing number of civilian casualties as a result of Israel's attacks last night is simply horrific . "

Lemmy called on the parties to resume negotiations on a prisoner exchange, increase humanitarian aid to Gaza, and end the conflict completely.

"The path to security for Israelis and Palestinians is diplomacy, not new bloodshed," he stressed. Speaking in parliament on March 17, Lemmy said Israel had been blocking humanitarian aid to Gaza for 15 days.

"This is a violation of international law," the minister said. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, 404 people were killed in the morning alone as a result of Israeli attacks.

As a reminder, the Israeli army, in violation of the bilaterally agreed ceasefire, has been heavily bombing residential areas in Gaza, tent camps set up for refugees, schools where displaced Palestinians have taken refuge, and residential buildings.
