Earlier, the parliament criticized the ineffectiveness of Britain's relations with the countries of the Middle East and called for measures to reduce the influence of Russia and China in the region.
British Foreign Minister David Cameron plans to visit the countries of Central Asia. He spoke about this in the parliamentary debate held on March 5.
"We are committed to strengthening our network of alliances and partnerships around the world. Central Asia is one of the sectors we want to do better. I plan to visit there. There, I will hold a roundtable discussion with everyone who knows which industries and enterprises, educational institutions we should cooperate with ," said David Cameron.
Let us remind you that in December of last year it was announced that in 2024 the summit of the British leadership with its colleagues from the Central Asian countries was planned to be held in the S5+1 format. In the report presented to the British Parliament, the authors criticized the ineffective cooperation between the British ministers and the governments of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, and also called on the British government to more actively oppose the influence of Russia and China in the region.
