Kim Jong-un called for the inclusion of South Korea as the "main enemy" in the Constitution
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has called for the constitution to be rewritten to designate South Korea as an "inevitable archenemy" . This was reported by the Korean Central News Agency.
He accused Seoul and Washington of turning the Korean Peninsula into a potential war zone "by conducting military exercises and deploying strategic assets."
Kim Jong-un also stated that it is "impossible" to achieve the unification of North and South Korea.
In addition, the leader of North Korea demanded to demolish the monument symbolizing the unification of the two countries in Pyongyang .
According to him, Pyongyang does not want to start a war, but at the same time, it does not seek to avoid it. "The ultimate conclusion from the bitter history of inter-Korean relations is that we cannot move forward together on the path of national unification," Kim Jong-un said.
Earlier, the government of the DPRK decided to close the agencies dealing with inter-Korean affairs.
