Israeli police arrest Palestinian bookstore owner
Israeli police raided the largest Palestinian bookstore in occupied East Jerusalem, "Ma'rifi," arresting its owners and confiscating hundreds of books.
The owners of the shop, Ahmed and Mahmoud Muna, were arrested on suspicion of distributing terrorist-related material. According to police, among the books seized was a children's coloring book called "From River to Sea."
Family members of the store owners deny the allegations, saying police confiscated the books without identifying their contents. They say officers translated books with the Palestinian flag or Arabic titles using Google Translate, then put them in plastic bags and took them away.
Israel is trying to destroy the Palestinian people through attacks, and its culture and educational system through similar pressure.
