The Jewish press reports that after the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the northern part of the Gaza Strip, the Hamas movement has regained control of the exclave and restored the provision of public services.

Hamas has resumed public services in the northern and central parts of the Gaza Strip. This was reported by Israel 's state TV " KAN " citing two unnamed officials.

Hamas has reasserted authority over civilian rule in areas abandoned by the Israeli army, officials said.

Along with emergency committees set up for war-like emergencies, municipal offices previously controlled by Hamas have reportedly resumed operations in the northern and central regions.

Despite the fact that Israel has repeatedly stated that the goal of the war in Gaza is to destroy Hamas and return the prisoners, it has not been able to achieve any of these goals in the war that has been going on since October 7.
