Is the White House looking for a new leader for the Pentagon?

According to NPR, the Trump administration has also begun searching for a new defense secretary.

According to the report, the reason for the dismissal of the current minister, Pete Hegset (who is a master at stirring up religious conflicts), was various conflicts and political conflicts surrounding him.

As you may know, The New York Times reported that Hegseth received classified information about the details of the attack on Yemen from a US military official a month ago and then shared it with his wife and brother via his personal phone.

In March, Hegseth discussed the details of the attack on Houthi targets in Yemen with senior White House officials in a Signal chat, and a journalist happened to join the conversation.

As a result, four of the official's top advisers have unexpectedly resigned in the past few weeks, some of whom have been accused of leaking information.

According to the publication, the outgoing advisers, in their public statements, stated that there were serious conflicts within the Ministry of Defense.

White House press secretary Caroline Levitt called the news that a replacement for the Pentagon chief was being sought a fake.

"This story is completely fake news. The President reaffirmed his full and unwavering support for the Pentagon chief this morning," he wrote on his social media page.
