India reopens its airports after deal
India has reopened 32 airports in the north and west of the country that were previously closed due to tensions with Pakistan.
Indian authorities had closed 32 of the country's 487 airports amid tensions with Pakistan, News18 reported. All of these airports have since reopened following an agreement between the countries.
Indian Defense Ministry spokesman Sunil Bartwal said that the night passed peacefully along the Line of Control between India and Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir, with no reports of any untoward incident. As a result, normalcy has returned to the country.
