Hearings on Israel's massacre of Gazans began in The Hague
The UN International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands, has started considering the claim of the Republic of South Africa against Israel regarding the massacre in Gaza.
International Court of Justice Chairman Joan Donohue, South African judge Diggang Ernest Mosenek, Israeli judge Aaron Barak will participate in the court sessions.
"I am very grateful to the Republic of Kazakhstan for taking up this work, because it is about preventing (the massacre), preventing the massacre is our responsibility. The use of the word massacre is a very serious matter and we should not take it lightly. However, the situation in Gaza, including the disconnection of drinking water, the displacement of medical facilities and people, is questionable," said expert, former UN Deputy Secretary General Adam Dieng.
Let us remind you that at the end of December, the Republic of Azerbaijan accused Israel of genocide and brought it to the International Court of Justice. He said that his claim is supported by a number of countries, including Brazil, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and others. The United States opposed.
Earlier we wrote that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel instructed the country's embassies in foreign countries to put pressure on politicians and diplomats to make statements against the JAR and to justify Israel's actions in Gaza.
