Hamas targets Tel Aviv again after a long break

On March 20, Hamas' armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, announced that it had launched a rocket attack on Tel Aviv.

The attack was said to be in response to Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip that have killed more than 700 Palestinian civilians in the past two days.

The Israeli army soon announced that one rocket had been destroyed and two more had fallen in open areas.

This is the first Hamas attack in months, after a rocket attack on Israel in January. The incidents are seen as further evidence that the war in the Gaza Strip is ongoing.

Earlier, RIA Novosti reported that Yemeni Houthis successfully launched an attack on Israel's Ben Gurion Airport with a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile.
