Hamas releases third group of Israeli soldiers

Hamas has released a third group of Israeli prisoners of war in the Gaza Strip. The freed prisoners include two women and one man as part of a swap deal with Tel Aviv.

Those released:

Arbel Ehud (29 years old)

Agam Berger (19 years old)

Gadi Mozes (80 years old)

Five Thai citizens, whose identities were not disclosed, were also released.

The prisoners were taken from three different locations in the enclave, including some in the Jabalia area and the home of slain Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar near Khan Younis.

The released prisoners were given Palestinian souvenirs. Published videos show Agam Berger wearing a Palestinian flag bracelet and being welcomed with open arms by Gaza residents.

As part of this exchange, Israel was forced to release 110 Palestinian political prisoners from prison.

According to media reports, Agam Berger served in Israeli intelligence and was captured by Hamas at the Nahal Oz military outpost on October 7.
