Gaza is not for billionaire tourists, but for the Palestinian people - US senator

US Senator Bernie Sanders has strongly reacted to President Donald Trump's statement on Gaza, saying that Gaza should be rebuilt for the Palestinian people, not for billionaire tourists.

Sanders criticized Trump's comments about Gaza in a social media post on Monday, noting that the conflict in Gaza has killed more than 47,000 Palestinians and injured more than 111,000.

The senator believes that Trump intends to "forcefully evict Palestinians so that Gaza can be developed as future real estate." He strongly condemned this, emphasizing that Gaza should be rebuilt only for the Palestinians.

Trump has been actively proposing a plan to deport Palestinians from Gaza to neighboring countries - Egypt and Jordan - since January 25. However, these countries have rejected his proposal. Their position has been supported by other Arab countries, regional and international organizations.
