Four Israeli soldiers commit suicide in less than two weeks

In less than two weeks, four Israeli soldiers who participated in the Gaza massacre have committed suicide. Two of them were active-duty soldiers and two were recently discharged.

Looking at the statistics, 43 soldiers have committed suicide since the start of the war. In 2024 alone, 21 suicides were recorded - the highest number since 2011.

The increase in suicide attacks is linked to Hamas's increased attacks on Israeli soldiers. At least 12 soldiers have been killed in Palestinian ambushes in the past two weeks. A total of 893 Israeli soldiers have been killed and another 19,000 wounded since the start of the war. Unofficial sources put the number even higher.
