According to the ministry's report, significant results have been achieved in protecting women's rights across Afghanistan.
Earlier, the Supreme Leader of Afghanistan, Haibatullah Ogunzoda, issued a decree on women's rights.
In the decree, the leadership instructed all relevant officials, religious scholars, and elders to take serious measures to implement the following rights of women: the consent of an adult woman is required when marrying her, and no one can force women to marry.
According to the document, "a woman is not property, she is a respected and free person, and no one can give her away to anyone in exchange for any benefit."
