About a thousand citizens of Tajikistan are stuck in several airports of Moscow. Among them are Tajik students studying at the expense of the Russian government. After a long wait, some of them - 322 people - were admitted to the territory of the Russian Federation, while 306 people are planned to be deported from the country. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan urges citizens to refrain from traveling to Russia.
About a thousand citizens of Tajikistan are stuck at Moscow airports, "TASS" reports, referring to Shokhin Samadiy, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
It is noted that most of them were observed in Vnukovo - people were placed in a temporary detention zone. The situation is also difficult at other capital airports - Domodedovo, Zhukovsky and Sheremetevo.
In particular, by the end of April 27, 954 citizens of Tajikistan were in the temporary storage area of Vnukovo International Airport. were kept in a state where appropriate sanitary conditions were not provided.
Among them are Tajik students studying in Russia at the expense of educational quotas given by the Russian government.
After a long wait, 322 citizens of Tajikistan, who were stuck at the Vnukovo airport, were allowed to enter the territory of Russia. 306 people are scheduled to be deported by the Russian government, and 27 of them have already been deported.
The situation is also complicated at other capital airports - Domodedovo, Zhukovsky and Sheremetyevo. Tajik diplomats are delivering food to the Vnukovo airport in cooperation with representatives of the diaspora, as detained citizens of Tajikistan are not provided with enough hot food.
In order to provide necessary assistance to citizens of the country on the spot, the consular service of the diplomatic mission of Tajikistan in Moscow has opened a 24-hour operational headquarters. In turn, the official Dushanbe calls on citizens of Tajikistan to refrain from traveling to Russia, emphasizing that such restrictive measures are applied only to citizens of Tajikistan.
The Russian Foreign Ministry insists that the strengthening of border controls for all foreigners, regardless of their citizenship, is a temporary measure given the increased risk of terrorism.
