A new textbook for learning the Uzbek language has been created in Egypt
The Embassy of Uzbekistan has published a guide in English titled "Uzbek Language: Complete Self-Study Guide in 22 Lessons," which teaches the Uzbek language from scratch in a simplified manner , Dunyo AA reports.
It is reported that in addition, an Uzbek-English dictionary has been published based on more than 2,500 actively used words.
This book, prepared for publication at the initiative of the embassy, is currently being distributed among libraries in Egypt and students of Cairo University who are studying the Uzbek language.
It is also planned to deliver it to foreign universities where the Uzbek language is taught through our country's diplomatic missions abroad.
The introduction to the guide discusses the unique characteristics of the Uzbek language, the stages of its change, and the history of the formation of the Uzbek people.
Its 22 lessons are dedicated to teaching the most essential rules and constructions for learning a foreign language.
Additional sections are also included at the end of the guide to make learning the language easier.
For example, the book explains the dialects of the Uzbek language and their differences, and also includes some widely used loanwords that are used among the people but have not been included in the literary language, the report says.
