A new mosque was built at a pedagogical college in Chechnya
A new mosque was opened on the territory of the Grozny Pedagogical College on the eve of the new academic year, the Minister of Science and Education of the Chechen Republic, Khadzhi-Baudi Daaev, announced.
The mosque, which covers an area of 90 square meters, can accommodate more than a hundred people. As a result of the opening of the mosque, students and teachers have the opportunity to pray in comfortable conditions without leaving the educational institution.
Minister Daaev emphasized that this initiative is a great gift for students and teachers, and expressed gratitude to the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation, which implemented the project.
The Grozny city administration also reported that 11 large religious buildings are currently being built in the region - eight mosques and three madrasas. Mayor Khas-Magomed Kadyrov noted that the government pays great attention to the development of religious education. According to him, religious education is the only way to raise young people spiritually and morally, forming in them respect for original values, traditions and national culture.
For your information, there are currently more than 1,500 mosques and at least 430 madrasas operating in Chechnya.
