Those who set fire to a mosque under construction in Germany were arrested

On January 19, German police arrested two neo-Nazis who set fire to a mosque being built by the Bosnian diaspora.

In the German city of Essen, law enforcement agencies arrested people suspected of setting fire to a mosque under construction on January 19.

As a result of the fire, the windows and doors of the mosque being built by the local Bosnian diaspora were damaged. Abandoned incendiary devices were found at the site of the incident, and the attackers also left a swastika - a Nazi symbol - on the mosque building, the Sarajevo Times wrote.

The police identified the suspects and arrested them - the arsonists turned out to be 18-19-year-old local youths. It is noted that they belonged to the neo-Nazi group and acted for Islamophobic purposes.
