1 child killed, 34 injured in Russian attack on apartment building in Kharkiv

At night, Russia attacked Ukraine with 8 X-59/69 missiles, 2 Iskandar-M ballistic missiles and 43 Shahed drones. One of the rockets hit an apartment building in Kharkiv, killing one child and injuring 34 people.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on his social network page last night that Russia hit a 9-story building in Kharkiv with a precision-guided bomb.

"There may be people under the roofs . All services are at the scene , " Zelensky said, noting that there were wounded in the attack, including children.

Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv region military administration, also announced on his social network page that a 12-year-old boy was killed and 34 people were injured as a result of the Russian army's attack on a residential building in Kharkiv .

According to Sinegubov, search and rescue operations are ongoing.

In a statement issued by the Ukrainian Air Force Command, it was reported that Russia attacked the territory of Ukraine at night with the help of 8 X-59/69 missiles, 2 Iskandar-M ballistic missiles and 43 Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles.

The statement said that 17 drones and 2 X-59/69 guided missiles were shot down as a result of air combat by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
