Russian forces launched large-scale missile attacks on Ukraine
Russia is said to have hit Ukraine with "strong" air strikes .
On Friday morning, Russian forces launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. Explosions took place in many regions and cities of the country, including Kiev, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odessa and Dnieper.
Ukrainian police said at least 12 people were killed and 76 injured in the mass shootings, but search and rescue operations are still ongoing.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, explaining the attack, said that at least 110 rockets were launched by the enemy.
"Maternity, educational institutions, shopping center, apartment buildings and private houses, warehouse, parking lot. Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, Dnieper, Kharkiv, Zaporozhye and other cities. Today, Russia struck with almost everything in its arsenal.
He said that there will be an answer for the attacks. "Russian terror must be defeated - and it will be," he said.
The spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, said that the Russians used various means of air strikes and carried out heavy strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine.
"Almost everything was launched. Apparently, there were no Calibers, but we saw Kinjal, S-300 ballistic missiles and cruise missiles... We also witnessed the use of Shaheds. They also flew in a southeast direction ", he said.
Russia has not yet commented on the missile attacks on Ukrainian cities.
