Russia reached an agreement on the construction of Russian schools in Kazakhstan. First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alexander Zhukov informed about this.
"We reached an agreement on the construction of three Russian-language schools in Kazakhstan. Also, we are not against the establishment of Kazakh-language schools on the territory of the Russian Federation," said Zhukov.
For information, in February of this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his address to the Federal Council, ordered to strengthen the promotion of the Russian language abroad. He instructed the government to increase funding for programs promoting the Russian language and Russian culture.
