Alexei Khamatkhanov, a soldier of the private military company "Wagner" in Uzbekistan, was found guilty under Article 154 ("recruitment") of the Criminal Code and was sentenced to five years in prison. His mother, Tatyana, informed about this to the "Readovka" Telegram channel.

It is noted that Alexei Khamatkhanov will fly from Tashkent to Moscow in the spring of 2023 and will soon sign a contract with "Wagner" FC. After the reorganization of the company, he will be sent to the migration center in Sakharova.

During his stay at the center, Khamatkhanov signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense and expressed his readiness to fight with "Ukrainian neo-Nazis". At first he was given a positive response, but later he was deported to Uzbekistan.

In Uzbekistan, he was arrested in November, and two months later, he was sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Let us remind you that at the end of October 2023, Ildar Khairulin, a citizen born in 1985 living in the Ukur Chirchik district of the Tashkent region, according to "Ozodlik" information, was imprisoned for five years for fighting on the side of the self-proclaimed independent DPR in Ukraine in 2014-2015.

For information, in accordance with Article 154 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan, recruitment, i.e., a person who is not considered a citizen or military serviceman of a conflicting state or does not live permanently in the territory of a conflicting state under control, or who is not authorized by any state to perform an official task in the armed forces, is prohibited for financial benefit or any other personal it is prohibited to be recruited to take part in an armed conflict or military operations on the territory of another country or on its side. Persons who committed this crime are expected to be imprisoned for 5 to 10 years.
