Despite the ongoing massacre of Palestinians in Gaza, Egypt's exports to Israel have doubled compared to last year. This was reported in the report of the Central Bureau of Statistics of Israel.

It is noted that the value of Egypt's products delivered to Israel in May was 25 million dollars.

The volume of exports to Israel from the UAE and Jordan also increased, and the trade value reached 242 million dollars (238.5 million dollars last year) and 35.7 million dollars (32.3 million dollars last year), respectively.

Despite a strained relationship between the two countries since October, energy and security cooperation has intensified over the past year as Israel's natural gas exports to Egypt have surged.

For information, the two countries agreed to increase the annual trade volume to about 700 million dollars by 2025.
