The number of US troops in Jordan has reached a record number
The number of US troops in Jordan has reached its highest level in 20 years since the Zionist patron invaded Iraq. This was reported by TRT TV channel.
It is noted that US President Joe Biden told Congress on June 7 that Washington had deployed 3,813 troops to Jordan under the Hashemite Kingdom - nearly 20 percent more than in December.
The increase in US troop numbers in Jordan comes amid Israel's carnage in Gaza, which in itself could make the country a flashpoint for US-Iran clashes, according to official figures.
For example, in January, a pro-Iranian drone attack on the Tower 22 American military base in Jordan killed three American soldiers and injured at least 40 others.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced at the time that the Middle East was becoming the most "dangerous" place since at least 1973.
In response, the U.S. struck 85 targets in Iraq and Syria that it said belonged to pro-Iranian forces and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
In addition, Jordan, together with the United Kingdom, France and the United States, was in the center of attention of the world community when it helped shoot down the Iranian missiles fired at Israel.

At least 3,000 Americans are stationed in Jordan and have "unfettered access" to many of the country's military facilities.
