Human rights activists called on India to stop demolishing Muslim homes

The reports titled "Bulldozer Injustice in India" and "JCB's Role and Responsibility in Bulldozer Injustice in India" documented the illegal demolition of 128 properties in the country between April and June 2022.
The organization's experts claim that the destruction of housing and commercial facilities has left at least 617 people homeless or deprived of their means of livelihood, Al Jazeera TV reported.
The organization is demanding fair compensation for the victims of these violations, most of whom are Muslim. Human rights activists are also calling for JCB (headquartered in London ) , the maker of bulldozers used in the destruction of Muslim homes and properties in India, to be prosecuted .
"The Indian government's illegal demolition of Muslim properties, so-called 'bulldozer justice', is brutal and appalling ... They are destroying families and must be stopped immediately," said Agnes Callamar, Secretary General of Amnesty International.
