After the withdrawal of the Israeli army from Khan Yunus, in the southern Gaza Strip, three mass graves were found in the area of Nasser Hospital. A total of 392 Palestinians, including women and children, were exhumed from them. Some bodies show signs of torture and execution.

The number of bodies found in three mass graves on the territory of Nasser Hospital after the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the town of Khan Yunus in the southern Gaza Strip has reached 392 people.

Yamin Abu Sulaiman, director of the Khan Yunus Civil Defense Department, said at a press conference that 58 more bodies were found in mass graves in Nasir Hospital during the search.

"Three mass graves with 392 bodies were found in the territory of Nasser Hospital. Some bodies showed signs of torture and execution. "We believe that some of them were buried alive ," said Abu Sulaiman.

Abu Sulayman added that the bodies of children were also found during the search. "We still do not know the reason why the bodies of children were found in mass graves in the hospital area."

"Israeli soldiers put many bodies in polyethylene bags and buried them 3 meters deep in the hospital area. This accelerated the decomposition process, and as a result, it was not possible to identify 165 bodies," he said.

Abu Sulaiman called on the international community to " allow human rights organizations and international media to enter the territory to expose Israel's crimes against the Palestinian people."

Muhammad Mugair from the Civil Defense Group presented to the press a video showing the bodies of those killed by the Israeli military with plastic shackles and traces of torture.

According to him, the bodies found in Nasir Hospital raise suspicions that they were tortured and executed.

Mugair , who drew attention to the fact that the bodies found could not have been buried by the Palestinian people, noted that burying the bodies 3 meters deep in the soil is contrary to the methods of burial accepted by the Gazans .

The Israeli army completely destroyed Nasir Hospital in Khan Yunus, which was besieged for a long time . In particular, on February 15, a special raid was conducted in its territory. On March 24, Israeli soldiers again surrounded the hospital and arrested many displaced Palestinians and medical workers. After 4 months of occupation, Khan finally withdrew from Yunus on April 7. After the withdrawal of the troops, mass graves were found in the city, corpses began to be collected from the ruins of houses and roadsides.
