A bus carrying Uzbeks crashed in Russia: there are victims

A bus carrying citizens of Uzbekistan crashed near the Russian city of Samara. Two people died, 26 were injured.

A bus carrying a group of Uzbek citizens from Kazakhstan to Nizhny Novgorod crashed near the Russian city of Samara.

According to preliminary information, a car carrying about 30 people ran off the highway and overturned near the village of Alakaevka, Samara region.

As a result of the accident, two people died, 26 people were injured. Four of the victims were treated on the spot, the rest were hospitalized with moderate injuries.

In connection with this situation, a criminal case was initiated under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia (performance of work or provision of services that do not meet safety requirements). Up to 10 years of imprisonment may be imposed under this article.
