Seljuk Bairakdor was included in the Forbes list
Forbes magazine included Seljuk Bayaroqdor in the list of billionaires. The wealth of 44-year-old Bairaqdor is estimated at 1.2 billion dollars. Today, he is ranked 2456th in the list of the richest people in the world.
Seljuk Bayraqdor is 44 years old and owns 52.5 percent of shares in Baykar, a military drone manufacturer in Turkey. He heads the board of directors and is also the technical director.
Bayraqdar manages the company together with his brother Haluk Bayraqdar. The company was founded in 1984 by their father Özdemir to produce ports for the Turkish automotive industry.
By 2022, Baykar had achieved sales of 1.4 billion dollars. Exports will reach $1.8 billion in 2023 due to military contracts in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
In 2016, Seljuk married Sumayya Erdogan and became the son-in-law of the current president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
