As we all know, today is the last day of the holy month of Ramadan. Tomorrow will be Eid al-Fitr. It is today in social networks, in mutual conversations, even among scientists, that it is recognized as the day of the eve. People are congratulating each other on the day of Arafah and making bold statements that belong to the real Arafah day. Now a natural question arises: is today the eve? What day is Arafah?

As we all know, today is the last day of the holy month of Ramadan. Tomorrow will be Eid al-Fitr.

Today is recognized as the eve day in many social networks, in mutual conversations, even among scientists.

People are congratulating each other on the day of Arafah and making bold statements that belong to the real Arafah day. Now a natural question arises: is today the eve? What day is Arafah?

Of course, it has been a tradition for Muslims to congratulate each other on Fridays and two days of Eid. On these days, relatives are informed, the poor are removed, donations are made, and tables are set. In a word, it is a day of joy, happiness, joy. Therefore, it is forbidden to fast on these days. A person who fasts on the day of Eid al-Fitr, the day of Eid al-Adha, and the three days after Eid al-Adha will not only commit an act contrary to the Sunnah, but also become a serious sinner.

Among these, the day of the eve is a day with special virtues and characteristics. There are several reasons why it is called that.

The word "Arafa" means familiar, knowing. The sources provide enough information about this. We would like to mention some of them:

The day of Arafah is the day when our religion is perfected, the blessing is completed;

The day of Arafah - the day when Adam and Eve, our mother, were brought down from heaven to earth, they found and got to know each other;

The day of Arafah is the day when the souls recognized each other when Allah created the souls;

The day of Arafah is the day when the sacrifice is certain;

The day of Arafah is the day when sins are forgiven and souls are released from Hell.

There are many hadiths about this day. And we are satisfied with only one of them.

It is narrated from Aisha, may God be pleased with her: "The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Allah, the Most High, will not release many slaves from hell until the day of the eve. He approached and then boasted to the angels about the servants he had freed from hell and said: "What do they want?" they said" (Narrated by Muslim).

Based on these facts, we say that the day before Eid al-Adha, i.e., the 9th day of Zul Hijjah, is the real eve day.

But to be honest, we never call Thursday Tuesday. Or we do not call the month of Rajab the month of Safar.

Therefore, we need to be very careful not to take the information that belongs to the real eve day as it belongs to this day. Because this is Sharia, religion. One needs to be very careful when talking about Sharia and religion. It is necessary to think about this aspect when citing hadiths as an example. Otherwise, we can damage the rules of our holy religion, which is pure, transparent, clear, and has not lost its charm and strength over the centuries.
