Resident of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev will pay an official visit to Turkey on June 6 at the invitation of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, resident of Turkey . As part of the visit, it is planned to hold the third meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council in Ankara under the chairmanship of the leaders of the two countries.
Issues of further development and strengthening of Uzbekistan-Turkey comprehensive strategic partnership relations were included in the agenda of the summit.
Special attention is paid to the expansion of practical cooperation, first of all, to increase the volume of trade, promotion of cooperation projects in industry, "green" energy, electrical engineering, textiles, pharmaceutical industries, agriculture and other areas, including within the framework of the public-private partnership program.
Issues of continuing active cultural and humanitarian exchange will be considered. Opinions are exchanged on current aspects of international politics.
It is planned to adopt a number of bilateral documents based on the results of the high-level negotiations.
In addition, residents of Uzbekistan and Turkey will hold their first joint meeting with leaders of leading enterprises and companies of the two countries.
