Seven suspects who sold information to Israel's intelligence service - MOSSAD through private detectives were arrested in Turkey. Seven suspects who sold information to Israel's intelligence service - Mossad through private detectives in Turkey were arrested in a joint operation of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and the General Directorate of Security , Anadolu reports.

According to the information received from the security sources, MİT found out that MOSSAD targets in Turkey are being monitored by private detectives.

As part of the surveillance, the Israeli intelligence service revealed that through its private detectives, it carried out activities such as collecting biographical information, intelligence, investigation, photo-video documentation, live surveillance and placement of surveillance devices against targets.

As part of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul General Prosecutor's Office, it was confirmed that all 9 suspects sold the information obtained by private detectives to MOSSAD.

After that, the teams of the intelligence department of the Istanbul Police Department and the head of the anti-terrorism department took action and organized a simultaneous operation in Istanbul and Izmir in the morning.

During the operation, 7 out of 9 suspects were arrested. As part of the same investigation, it became known that two suspects were arrested earlier .

In December 2022, MIT organized an operation against private detectives and tactical employees of MOSSAD and arrested 68 people.
