President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev went to Syrdarya region by train. During the trip, he talked with the Chairman of the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan, Mufti Sheikh Nuriddin Khaliqnazar about religious and educational activities and the virtues of the month of Ramadan.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev went to Syrdarya region on March 14 in order to get to know the life of the people, the press service of the head of state reported.
During the trip, the president talked with the chairman of the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan, mufti Sheikh Nuriddin Khaliqnazar. In the conversation, there was talk about religious and educational activities and the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan.
The mufti said that the virtues of patience, kindness and generosity increase during these great days, and our compatriots feel this and do many good deeds.
