With the support of Kazakhstan International Development Agency KazAID, humanitarian aid in the form of 2 thousand tons of diesel fuel was allocated on behalf of resident Kasim-Jomart Tokaev. Delivered Kazakh diesel fuel is used to meet the energy needs of various spheres of life, including transport, agriculture and medical institutions.

"The first batch of 1,000 tons of diesel fuel has arrived at the Shopokova station in Chui region. The second batch of 1,000 tons will be delivered to the Baliqchi station in Issyk-Kul region at the request of the Kyrgyz side. Today's event once again confirms the inviolability of our close friendly relations, which have been strengthened by our ancestors for centuries, and which we must always continue. "Kazakhstan, along with other neighboring countries, immediately responded to the complex situation related to the man-made accident at the Bishkek TPP, and also significantly increased the supply of electricity to Kyrgyzstan," Shoshiboev said.

We remind you that on the night of February 2, an explosion occurred in one of the boilers of the Bishkek thermal power plant. The explosion caused problems with heat supply in 66 percent of the city's population. After the accident, the governments of the Central Asian countries announced that they would allocate their assistance to eliminate the consequences of the incident. In particular, the Uzbek side sent cylinders of liquefied gas from Andijan to Osh as aid.
