On March 29, Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the participation of the heads of law enforcement agencies and security forces. This was reported by the press service of the president.

At the meeting, reports of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Guard were heard on the organization of public order maintenance in large trade and service facilities, including shopping and entertainment complexes, parks, markets and other places where citizens are crowded.

It was emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between law enforcement agencies and business entities in maintaining public order and ensuring the safety of citizens in today's conditions, where new threats and dangers to public safety are increasing.

At the same time, it was noted the importance of unconditionally ensuring the rights and legal interests of business entities and citizens during the implementation of measures related to public safety.

The head of state instructed to develop a draft normative legal document aimed at ensuring full cooperation of law enforcement agencies, civil society institutions and business entities in this regard.

In particular, the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Guard was tasked with further strengthening the ongoing work on maintaining public order, taking effective measures aimed at preventing terrorist acts and other emergency situations that may be committed in populated areas.

Earlier, it was reported that Tashkent IIBB and National Guard officers are working in shopping malls, entertainment venues, markets and other public places in an enhanced manner.
