On June 23-26, at the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh will be in the country on a state visit. This was reported by the press service of the president.

According to the program of the visit of the high-ranking guest, it is planned to hold high-level negotiations in Tashkent. Issues of further expansion and strengthening of Uzbekistan-Mongolia friendship and multilateral cooperation relations will be considered.

In particular, the agenda includes plans to develop constructive political dialogue and inter-parliamentary relations, increase the volume of bilateral trade, implement cooperation projects in mining, agriculture, livestock, light industry, healthcare, transport, logistics and other areas. Also, joint measures aimed at the activation of cultural-humanitarian and tourism relations will be discussed. Opinions are exchanged on international issues.

It is planned to adopt a set of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents based on the results of the summit.

As part of the state visit, a meeting of the presidents with representatives of leading companies and business circles of the two countries and a number of other bilateral events are planned.

The President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, will also visit the city of Khiva and get acquainted with the rich cultural and historical heritage of the people.
