Seljuk Bayaroqdor, an engineer, researcher and inventor who has become a leader in the field of technology in his country, was born in 1979 in Istanbul, Turkey. Some call him the "Father of Turkish Aerial Drones" and liken him to Steve Jobs, an inventor of Syrian descent.

Seljuk Bairaqdor has already become a hero for young people interested in the field of technology around the world.
In 2016, he married Samiyya, the daughter of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. His drones have won several medals and awards for their performance in some conflict zones.

Childhood
Seljuk Ozdemir Bayaroqdor was born on October 7, 1979, in the city of Istanbul, in a rich and protective family. His father, Ozdemir Bayaroqdor, was an outstanding politician and businessman, and in the 90s of the last century, he was involved in politics as a supporter of Erdogan. Father Bairaqdor laid the foundation stone for the "Baykar" company, which produces drones that are now world famous. He worked as the head of this company until 2021 - until the end of his life.
His mother, Janon Bayraqdor, graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Istanbul University in 1971. He worked at the Industrial Development Bank of Turkey. She was one of the first female computer programmers in Turkey. Later, she works in the family company she founded with her husband. This situation caused his sons Saljuq, Kholuq and Ahmed to enter the world of airplanes and become interested in the secrets of making them.
Janon Bayraqdar, supporting his sons and teaching them the secrets of this work, used to say to them: "My sons, the right of white milk I gave you, despite all the obstacles, conspiracy and intimidation policies, if you do not provide the technology we have developed to the service of the honorable sons of the Turkish Army , I will consider you a failure and I will be displeased!” It is not wrong to say that the success of the flag-bearers was caused by the mother's perseverance and determination.
Janon Bayraqdor is still working as the head of "Baykar Finance Group" company.

Educational stage
Seljuk received his primary education at the primary school in his district. Then he continued his studies at the "Robert" college in Istanbul, which provides American education. After graduating from this college in 1997, he was accepted to study at the "Electronics and Communication Engineering" department of Istanbul Technical University.
During his studies at the university, he applied to the American University of Pennsylvania, which opened new horizons for him, helped him acquire the highest skills, and made his father's dream of developing the "Baykar" company come true, and began his golden period there. He will return to Turkey after the training period. During this period, he finished his bachelor's degree and managed to get a grant from the university in return for his promise to build unmanned aircraft during his master's degree in the "Aircraft Development" department. These were his results between 2002 and 2004.
After his excellent results in his master's degree, at one point he won a scholarship to study unmanned aircraft technology at the University of Massachusetts, USA.
During this period, he was able to work as an assistant to two famous professors working as electronic engineers of the university: George Poppes and Eric Feyron. This allowed him to conduct practical research on passenger aircraft, their management and systematization at an international level.

Practical experience
After graduating in 2007, he returned to Turkey and started working as a technical supervisor at "Baykar" company. By 2021, after the death of his father, he took over the management of the company. He has focused on various areas such as flight control, avionics engineering, navigation algorithm development, systems dynamics and behavior, embedded software and electronic device development in the creation of Turkish-made UAVs.

"Bayroqdor TB2" has developed a project for guidance and control of unmanned drones. This project was successfully tested in Turkey's battles against the "Kurdistan Workers' Party" and in the battles in Syria and Libya. He was also able to design the first drone in the arsenal of the Turkish army, the Bayrağdor Mini, after which he developed the country's first unmanned attack system, the Bayrağdor Akinci, and handed it over to the armed forces on August 29, 2021.
Flagship has succeeded in creating the Kizil Alma unmanned military aircraft, which is one of the clear signs of Turkey's superiority in the technology of unmanned aerial vehicles, which successfully passed the first tests in 2023, and is distinguished by its altitude of 35,000 feet and speed exceeding 1,224 kilometers per hour. Also, this device can carry 1.5 tons of missiles and food supplies. His last flight took 5 hours.
